What happens when you realize you are performing a role in a story you didn't actually write? We call it "the plan," or "stability." We turn up the "noise" (more work, more stuff, more distractions) to drown out the silence. But eventually, the silence gets too loud to ignore. We realize we've been drifting on high functioning auto-pilot, within a story that doesn't actually fit. Then, life happens. A heartbreak, loss, or layoff. A sudden, jarring change of events that leaves us standing in the wreckage between who we were and who we are meant to be.
This is the space that StorySeek lives. The in-between. The belief is that stories aren't just entertainment - they are the most practical form of guidance humanity has ever known. Stories are the blueprints for survival, meaning, reinvention. Let's explore what happens when we finally abandon the script we didn't write, and start seeking a story worth living. A story that's meaningful and true to you.

The Story
Who is behind StorySeek?
One person. A few microphones and cameras. A big dream. An RV, the open road, and a deep curiosity about the people we meet along the way.
The Road
A chapter between chapters.
I thought I had it all figured out. I had a plan, and a future I thought was certain. But then a life altering event took place which changed everything, shook me to my core, and left me with questions that I couldn't easily answer. Questions that are easy to avoid until they become impossible to ignore:
What actually matters most?
What kind of life do I truly desire, what makes me happy?
What is my purpose or calling?
How can I create positive impact and be deeply satisfied with life?
Before you roll your eyes, be real with yourself: have you asked those questions lately? Really dive deep beyond the surface and spend some time contemplating these. Most importantly, be true to yourself; these should be your answers, not what others desire for you or what society determines.
I believe everything happens for a reason, and these were signs from the universe to dig deeper and explore the abyss.
I left behind a comfortable chapter of my life - not because something was broken, but because something inside needed more. More depth. More meaning. I knew there's more to this life, more to this story, but not quite sure what exactly.
So I decided to move out of the city, sell most of my belongings, buy an RV and hit the road to travel across North America in search of the stories that don't usually get told. As I traverse on this journey, I seek to find my own purpose and meaning in life, while meeting interesting people and creating memories along the way.
This is a story within stories. I am not sure where this path will take me, but there's only one way to find out. Let's figure it out together.
My name is Michał (Mike) Majcherczyk, also known as "Magic" - but that nickname is a story for another time :)

StorySeek is a podcast and video series that seeks out the people navigating life's most honest moments - transitions, reinventions, loss, purpose, and the courage to start over. Those who choose to be bold and take action in pursuit of their dreams or calling. Carving their own path and creating meaningful impact.
These are not highlight reels. They are real conversations with real people who chose to keep going. Unscripted, raw, authentic, vulnerable, and sometimes messy. The true human experience. Aiming to deliver unique perspectives, the ability to learn something new, be inspired, and entertained along the journey. It's going to be a hell of a ride - the question is, are you down to join the adventure?
Because the best stories aren't always the loudest - they're often hidden, but also the ones most worth seeking.
I believe every person carries a story worth telling. My goal is to find the right questions - and listen.
